The 5B League Award is only available for CARS members, and is intended to promote amateur radio activity on any mode.

  1. All contacts must be confirmed on Clublog.
  2. All contacts must be made using a 5B call from Cyprus or for licensed associate members, using their home call from their home country.
  3. Categories are open to CARS members only.
  4. Separate awards will be awarded for operators under 26 years of age and for those who are over 26 years of age.
  5. Award categories:
    • a) All modes
    • b) Phone only
    • c) CW only
    • d) Data only
  6. Awards:
    • a) The QSO’s to be considered must have been completed in the same calendar year, i.e. between Jan 1st and Dec 31st of the year.
    • b) A first Place Trophy per category, will be presented for most confirmed DXCC by the 1st of March the following year.
    • c) The trophies will be presented at the next CARS Annual General Meeting.
    • d) The winner will keep the Trophy for a year, until it is presented to the winner of the Trophy the following year.
    • e) The trophy will be transferable year on year to the next winner.
    • f) Certificates will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
